All living organisms (citizens, plants, animals), their communities and organisations, are considered as actors on the public canvas, i.e. the place where common interests meet with that of citizens, society and the natural environment.
The actors can be individual persons, banks, government, parastatals, agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGO’s), community-based organizations, media, institutions of research, schools, land and property organizations, and private sector entities among others.
These actors are estimated to be responsible for most of the daily traffic related to public values and risks. The components – like in ecosystems – are described and defined per sector, with mission, focus and drive. Type or form of organisation has been given less priority and put the core business and niche in the ecosystem of society on the foreground.
All sectors have a colour, chosen from the palette of the Pantone Matching System, the international standard for design and print. We strive for a logical association and understanding of the individual colours per sector to serve easy reading and the understanding. The colours and the argumentation for the choice are described hereunder (still in progress).
